Question
Are you in a book club? How does your book club choose books? How far in advance do you choose?
Answer
Uh…yes and no? My co-worker’s wife — Mrs. C. — hosts routine a gathering, but I’ve never attended (or read whichever book they’re planning to discuss). Part of it’s a fear of meeting new people, and wondering if I’ll fit in; the rest comes from not being that interested in most of the selections.
But then again, sometimes book club should be about working out your reading muscles. Maybe I’ll join in next time.
