To play along just answer the following three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Recently read
I just finished The Name of the Wind, the first book in Patrick Rothfuss’ Kingkiller Chronicle series. The second book, The Wise Man’s Fear, came out in March, and I can’t wait to read more of Kvothe’s story.
Currently reading
I’m one chapter in to Divergent, but it’s slow going. My weekend was (pleasantly) busy, and I was exhausted by the time I got home. I’m catching up on reviews too, so I’m trying to avoid getting too “into” the story when I don’t have the proper time to dedicate to it yet.
Coming up next
Not really sure. Something non-fiction, perhaps? I started both DIY U and In Pursuit of Silence awhile back, and could never finish either. It’s probably time I loop back around.
What are you reading this week? Do you get bored of a book, drop it, and come back later for another attempt, or do you just give up and move on?
I recently have been reading the Mary Russell series, and I’m loving it so far!
I usually get bored with a book, drop it, come back later, and try again. I’ve done it with several books.
I loved The Name Of The Wind too! It was an amazing book. I have read the second one and it was just as awesome. 😀
Your book dropping and picking up process is just like mine. 🙂 Glad to know I’m not alone.
I only just heard about The Name of the Wind, and was totally bummed that I hadn’t heard about it before now — it’s just the kind of book that can get obsessed with. The only good thing about not knowing of it until now is that I don’t have to wait for the next one to come out!
