A Few of My Favorite Things

Okay, so it’s a totally crazy weekend around here. Friends visiting, a friend’s wedding on Saturday, and Best Friend is in a show this afternoon. I really wanted to get a review done, but so it goes. No use crying over spilled milk, so instead enjoy two of my newest favorite things:

Comedian John Branyan tells the story of “The Three Little Pigs” if it were written by Shakespeare. Witty, nerdy, and awesome.

My favorite band (this month) is definitely The Civil Wars. Most of their stuff is pretty mellow, but I’m crushing hard on “Barton Hollow.” It’s a great mix of Appalachian influence and fantastic harmonies. If you don’t love these guys, we can’t be friends.
