With a few notable exceptions, I’ve always enjoyed taking tests. Multiple-choice questions are almost always easy, and writing an essays and/or term papers can be interesting (if you like the topic). But for some reason, fill in the blank questions have always been my favorite.
The answers are short (one to three words), the rest of the sentence gives you a clue as to the answer, and that blank space is just waiting to be completed.
In honor of all the possibilities, here are some of my favorite fill in the blank questions.
I love books because __________.
I hated __________ because __________.
My favorite book is __________.
The best time to read is __________.
If I could marry any character, I’d marry __________ in a heartbeat.
If I could be any character, I’d totally be __________.
If I could meet any author, I’d have a chat with __________ about __________.
How would you fill in these blanks? What are your favorite fill in the blank questions?
