(WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Should Be Reading.)
To play along just answer the following three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Recently finished
Thank goodness for long weekends — I finally got to read The Masque of the Black Tulip! I won’t be reviewing it, since I generally don’t review whole series, but it was delicious! If you haven’t read Lauren Willig yet, you should.
Currently reading
While looking at my stack of unread books last night, I made the mistake of asking Best Friend what I should read. His response: “The biggest book you’ve got. Non-fiction.” So I’ve dug into Bill Bryson’s At Home: A Short History of Private Life. If I don’t resurface soon, send help.
Coming up next
Gah, I’ll be reading Bill Bryson for the rest of year, and possibly half of next. I’m trying to enjoy it, but Warm Bodies is calling…
The Masque Of The Black Tulip does sound good…Good luck with Bill’s book!
I’m head-over-heels for Willig’s series — it’s got everything, and I can’t resist! Thanks for the well-wishes for tackling Bryson. Hoping to get some good reading done over the weekend.
Thanks for visiting my blog yesterday! I’m sorry you found Jordan’s Firelight to be dull. I really loved it, but I can see why others might not. I’ll have to look into Willig’s series. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. 🙂 Happy Wednesday!

I really wanted to like Firelight, and I’m sad that I didn’t. 🙁 Not every book can be for everybody, though. I hope you like the Pink Carnation series — I’m a sucker for all things swashbuckling, so it’s perfect for me. Happy Wednesday and New Year!
