(WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Should Be Reading.)
To play along just answer the following three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Recently finished
I got completely wrapped up in other projects over the weekend, so I haven’t finished anything since last week. On the up side, my most recent cross stitch is almost done!
Currently reading
I’m taking a break from The Last Werewolf and reveling in re-read number gazillion of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Sometimes I just need a little dose of Darcy. 😉
Coming up next
I’ll probably get back into The Last Werewolf over the weekend. After that, who knows?
What are you reading this week?
Oh man. I just recently read Pride and Prejudice for the first time . . . and I LOVED it! The characters are so quirky and funny and so . . . relevant. I can see it being one of my regular rereads from now on.
I didn’t read the book itself until…hm, probably early high school. But I’d seen the Colin Firth/Jennifer Ehle film adaptation dozens of times before that, so I’ve been surrounded by the story since I was small.
I do agree that it’s relevant — not judging a book by its cover will always be an important theme in life, and Austen brings her points home with plenty of wit and a good dose of silliness. Mrs. Bennet is of course the show-stealer in that respect, but Mr. Collins takes the cake for sheer jaw-dropping stupidity. :p
Hmm The Last Werewolf.. I’ve seen that one around.. I’ll have to check it out.. Thanks for sharing!
Happy Reading 🙂
I heard The Last Werewolf was pretty “adult,” but it’s downright spicy. So fair warning. :p
